๐ How We Detect & Respond
Verve employs multiple layers of detection and response to prevent CSAE on our platform:
- Age verification: All users must verify their identity and age during account creation. Accounts that cannot verify they are 18+ are rejected.
- Proactive image scanning: Uploaded images are scanned using industry-standard tools, including PhotoDNA hash-matching technology, to detect known CSAM before it is ever displayed to another user.
- Moderated content review: Our trust & safety systems use automated pattern detection to flag potentially harmful content and conversations for human review.
- Human review: Our trained moderation team reviews flagged content around the clock and escalates confirmed cases immediately.
- User reporting: Every profile, message, and post on Verve has a visible "Report" button. Reports are actioned within hours by our safety team.
- Rapid account suspension: Accounts under active investigation for CSAE are suspended immediately pending review, not after investigation concludes.
