Community Rules
Verve is a home built by queer women, for queer women. These rules protect the safety, dignity, and joy of everyone in our space. By joining, you commit to upholding them.
🌈 Be Authentically You
Use real photos and accurate information. Our identity verification process is designed to protect every woman in our community. Catfishing, impersonation, or creating fake profiles results in immediate permanent removal. Your authentic self is what makes this space special — bring her, fully.
💜 Zero Tolerance for Hate Speech & Harassment
Any form of harassment, hate speech, discrimination, or bullying — based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, body size, disability, relationship style, or any other characteristic — results in immediate permanent account termination. This is a one-strike policy. There are no second chances for hate in this space.
- No slurs, derogatory language, or targeted insults
- No sustained unwanted contact after someone has asked you to stop
- No threats, intimidation, or incitement
- No "outing" another person's identity without their consent
🔒 Respect Consent — Always
Consent is the foundation of everything on Verve.
- Never share explicit, intimate, or private content without clear, prior, enthusiastic consent
- Never share another user's private photos, messages, or personal information outside of Verve — non-consensual intimate image sharing is illegal and will be reported to law enforcement
- Always ask before sharing contact information (phone, social media, etc.)
- Respect "no" — immediately and without argument
🛡️ Report, Don't Retaliate
If you experience or witness a Community Rules violation, report it immediately using the in-app report button on any profile or message, or email verve@verve.dating. Our trust & safety team responds within hours, 24/7.
Do not engage in retaliation or vigilante action — let our team handle it. Your report is confidential and the reported user is never informed who reported them.
🌍 Celebrate Our Diversity
Our community is beautifully diverse — spanning different ethnicities, body types, ages (18+), relationship styles (monogamous, non-monogamous, queerplatonic, and beyond), disability statuses, and backgrounds.
- Fetishization or exoticization of any member based on race, ethnicity, or body is prohibited
- Body-shaming, age-shaming, or any form of "preference policing" directed at others is prohibited
- Exclusionary language that demeans or dismisses valid queer identities is not welcome
📵 No Spam, Bots, or Solicitation
Verve is a human-first community. The following are strictly prohibited:
- Commercial promotion, advertising, or solicitation of any kind
- Unsolicited links to external platforms (OnlyFans, escort services, etc.)
- Mass copy-paste messages or repetitive solicitations
- Bot accounts, automated engagement, or any form of artificial activity
- Pyramid schemes, MLM recruitment, or financial solicitation
✅ Verification Standards
All Verve profiles must complete our identity verification process within 7 days of account creation. Unverified accounts have restricted features until verification is complete. Verification protects you and every other woman in this space.
Attempting to circumvent or spoof the verification process results in permanent removal and may be reported to relevant authorities.
👁️ Chaperone Mode
Chaperone Mode is an optional safety feature that allows a trusted person — such as a friend or family member — to monitor a user's conversations and activity within Verve. It is designed solely as a personal safety tool and must be used responsibly and with full transparency.
- Chaperone Mode must only be enabled with the full knowledge and consent of the account holder
- Using Chaperone Mode to secretly surveil, control, stalk, or manipulate another person is a serious violation of these rules and may constitute unlawful behaviour
- The chaperone must not share, publish, or misuse any information accessed through this feature
- Chaperone access does not permit the chaperone to take actions on behalf of the account holder without their knowledge
Limitation of Liability: Verve Dating Pty Ltd provides Chaperone Mode as a voluntary, opt-in feature on an "as is" basis. Verve accepts no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any harm, loss, dispute, breach of privacy, or any other consequence arising from the misuse, abuse, or unauthorised use of Chaperone Mode by any party. Users who enable or participate in Chaperone Mode do so entirely at their own risk. Any abuse of this feature will result in immediate permanent account termination of all parties involved.
💬 Community Feed Standards
The Verve community feed is a shared space for connection, celebration, and support. Please keep it:
- On-topic: Relevant to the sapphic, lesbian, and queer women community
- Respectful: Disagree with ideas, not by attacking people
- Safe: No graphic violence, sexually explicit content, or disturbing imagery
- Legal: No content that violates copyright, privacy laws, or any other applicable law
Verve moderators may remove content at their discretion without notice if it conflicts with our community values, even where it does not technically violate a specific rule.
🛡️ Child Safety & CSAE
Verve has an absolute zero-tolerance policy against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). Any user found producing, distributing, soliciting, or possessing child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or engaging in grooming or exploitation of minors, will be immediately and permanently banned and reported to national authorities and the NCMEC CyberTipline without exception.
For full details on our detection measures, mandatory reporting obligations, and how to report a concern, see our dedicated Child Safety & CSAE Policy.
🤝 The Spirit of These Rules
Beyond the specific rules above, we ask that every Verve member act in the spirit of care, kindness, and mutual respect that makes this community extraordinary. Ask yourself: "Would I be comfortable if the whole community could see what I'm doing?" If not — don't do it.
These rules will evolve as our community does. Major changes will be communicated via in-app notification.
Our Promise to You
Verve's trust & safety team monitors the platform around the clock. We are committed to continuous improvement of our safety systems. Your voice matters — reach out to us anytime.
